"Hotel California" (dual lead harmony pt. 2) by The Eagles

Riff Rundown

Difficulty: Advanced

This lesson covers the 2nd lead guitar from the dual lead harmony at the very end of the song "Hotel California". In the song two lead guitars play in harmony.

This guitar part is a little harder to play than the 1st one. It requires some wide stretches, each note is picked (instead of pull-offs as in the 1st guitar part), and there's some long slides that require you to hit a target note.

I've broken the section down into 4 parts. Practice each part separately then put it all together. With each new sequence I show the suggested fingerings in red.
